Too many artists to name individually; my tastes are pretty eclectic. Just about anything but rap and opera.

The Closer, Saving Grace, In Plain Sight - love strong female leads - the CSI franchise, all my favorite sci-fi shows are off the air now. So You Think You Can Dance, American Idol and America's Got Talent are the only reality shows I like.
Favorite Things:
My Farscape and Firefly DVDs, summer storms, partying with my large extended family, freecycling, experimenting in the kitchen.
Nickname:
Well, gosh, Chaz IS my nickname. I also go by Charlie. It's a long story that starts back in the misty distance of my wayward youth.

About Me
Hi, all.

I've been gardening in Michigan for over 30 years now. I've managed to turn my kids into helpful garden gnomes. They help with the weeding, watering, hauling of heavy stuff, fetching of tools and the like while I handle the more glamorous tasks like planting, pruning and harvesting.

I've also got two dogs who spend lots of time in the garden with me. My shih tzu Zoe doesn't care for gardening much, I'm afraid. She's a spoiled little princess who prefers to snooze on my lap. My mutt Ash likes gardening just fine. He enjoys having company while he chases off the birds and squirrels.
